3. Products and Descriptions

3.1. Accuracy of Description: We take all reasonable care to ensure that the descriptions, prices, and imagery of products are accurate. However, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all goods must be fit for purpose, of satisfactory quality, and as described.

3.2. Handcrafted Nature: All glass figurines are unique, individual, handcrafted pieces produced using the Lampworking technique. As such, they will contain natural variations in colour, size, shape, and internal bubble placement. Any minor variation from the product image does not constitute a fault or a breach of contract, as the items are sold on the understanding they are individually made and unique.

3.3. Special Products (Ashes Infusion Service): For the Ashes Infusion Service, we act as a service provider for the creation of a memorial item. We guarantee all due care and respect in handling the materials provided, but accept no liability for any loss of material during transit or infusion, beyond standard courier liability.

4. Pricing and Payment

• 4.1. Currency: All prices shown on the website are in **GB Pounds Sterling (£)**.
• 4.2. VAT: All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the current UK rate. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus the delivery charge.
• 4.3. Pricing Errors: In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product at the incorrect price, even if the order has been confirmed and your credit/debit card charged.
• 4.4. Payment Methods: We accept payment via major credit/debit cards and other approved third-party payment gateways.

5. Orders and Contract Formation

• 5.1. Offer and Acceptance: When you submit an order, you are making an offer to purchase goods. This does not constitute a binding contract.
• 5.2. Contract Formation: The contract between you and York Lucky Cats will be formed when we dispatch the goods to you. We will send an email confirming dispatch.
• 5.3. Order Refusal: We reserve the right to refuse any order placed by you, or to cancel a contract, particularly in the event of stock unavailability, inability to obtain authorisation for payment, or if we suspect fraudulent activity.
• 5.4. Bulk Orders: We reserve the right to decline or cap orders considered to be bulk or wholesale quantities, unless prior written agreement has been reached.

6. International Orders

For orders placed outside the UK, you are responsible for checking whether your order is subject to import duties, taxes, or other local charges (including customs fees). These charges are determined locally and are your sole responsibility. We are unable to advise on or refund these costs.

You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of the content or the product design without express written permission from us.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
